The Club has three exciting meetings left for the 2009 season.
On December 1, Scout.com's Director of Recruiting, Scott Kennedy, will be the guest speaker. Kennedy will give a comprehensive overview of the upcoming signing classes.
On December 15, Mississippi State Head Football Coach Dan Mullen will be our guest. Mullen has brought a new attitude to the MSU campus and it will be exiciting to hear him recap his first year in Starkville.
On February 9, we will have our Annual Awards Banquet. Auburn Head Football Coach Gene Chizik will be our speaker. On that night we will award our Public and Private School Players of the Year.

Club Announces Players of the Week for November 5-6-7 Games
The Montgomery Quarterback Club has announced its Players of the Week for games of November 5-7. Sam Gibson from Prattville High School is the Public School Player of the Week and Ty Moore from Trinity Presbyterian School is the Private School Player of the Week. Both players will be honored at the Club’s next meeting on Tuesday, December 1. Scott Kennedy, national recruiting director for Scout.com, will be the featured speaker.
Sam Gibson, a senior quarterback, passed for 151 yards and 3 touchdowns to lead Prattville to a 50-13 first round playoff win over Dothan. One of Gibson’s touchdown plays covered 80 yards.
Prattville, coached by Jamey DuBose, is 9-2 on the season and hosts Central, Phenix City on Friday in the second round of the AHSAA Class 6A playoffs.
Ty Moore, a senior offensive/defensive lineman, had 15 tackles in Trinity’s 42-6 first round playoff win over Aliceville.
Trinity, coached by Randy Ragsdale, is 10-0 on the season and hosts Gordo on Friday in the second round of the AHSAA Class 3A playoffs.
