Jimmy Sexton Speaks

Jimmy Sexton is president of the Memphis firm Athletic Resource Management, a sports management and marketing agency that handles the contract negotiations, endorsements, day to day management and investments for over 80 professional athletes and coaches. At age 23, Jimmy was the youngest person ever licensed by the NBA and the NFL to represent member players in contract negotiations, and has been
doing so for over 20 years. Jimmy has negotiated numerous contracts that were records in that sport. Some clients that Jimmy represents include former NFL Head Coach Bill Parcells (currently with ESPN) and Head college coaches Tommy Tuberville, Nick Saban, Phillip Fulmer, and Houston Nutt. He also represents NFL players Philip Rivers, Isaac Bruce, Jason Witten, and D’Angelo Williams as well as NBA players Corliss Williamson and Earl Barron. Jimmy is responsible for the day to day management of well over 300 million dollars of athletic contracts for his clients and enjoys helping clients obtain exposure by negotiating commercials, exclusive corporate relationships and public appearances. Jimmy attended the University of Tennessee graduating in 1986 with a B.A. in political science/business. He currently lives in the Memphis suburb of Collierville with his sons, James, Parker, and Blake.
