The Players of the Week are chosen from the River Region public and private high schools and recognized with their coach representatives and parents each week. Awards are given for their accomplishments on the gridiron.

These awards culminate at the end of the season in two recipients being named “Players of the Year.”  A college “Player of the Year" is also recognized by the organization.
